Duncan Watson is a voice actor. From 1975 to 1977, Duncan lent his voice to Charlie Brown in several productions including "Be My Valentine Charlie Brown," "You’re a Good Sport Charlie Brown," "Happy Anniversary Charlie Brown," and the feature film "Race For Your Life Charlie Brown." He also voiced the character Franklin in "You're a Good Sport Charlie Brown."

BIO

Duncan Watson was only 11 years old when he fortuitously found himself in the right place at the right time, leading to his selection as the fifth voice of Charlie Brown. This opportunity began with the 1975 Peanuts special "Be My Valentine Charlie Brown." From 1975 to 1977, Duncan lent his voice to Charlie Brown in several productions including "Be My Valentine Charlie Brown," "You’re a Good Sport Charlie Brown," "Happy Anniversary Charlie Brown," and the feature film "Race For Your Life Charlie Brown." He also voiced the character Franklin in "You're a Good Sport Charlie Brown."

 

After his stint with Peanuts, Duncan moved from the San Francisco Bay Area to New Hampshire in 1978. He pursued his education in the state, earning an undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire followed by a graduate degree from Antioch University. Today, Duncan works in the public works field in a small city in southwest New Hampshire. Additionally, he is a certified yoga instructor, having taught vinyasa flow-style yoga classes for the past decade.

 

Duncan is also an author with his first book, "Everyone's Trash," a collection of stories about trash and its connection to everyone, scheduled for release in the spring/summer of 2024.

 

Duncan is the father of two adult daughters: Selma, 23, who resides in Boston, and Samantha, 26, who lives in Long Island.
