Rachel Hurd-Wood is an English actress best known for her roles as Wendy Darling in Peter Pan (2003), Sibyl Vane in Dorian Gray (2009), and Corrie McKenzie in Tomorrow, When the War Began (2010).
Born in South London, Rachel began her acting career at the age of twelve when she was cast as Wendy Darling in P.J. Hogan’s Peter Pan, earning critical acclaim and nominations for both a Saturn Award and a Young Artist Award. She went on to appear in An American Haunting opposite Donald Sutherland and Sissy Spacek, and in Perfume: The Story of a Murderer alongside Alan Rickman and Dustin Hoffman — a performance that earned her another Saturn Award nomination.
Rachel’s later work includes Solomon Kane, Dorian Gray, Hideaways, and Highway to Dhampus, showcasing her versatility across fantasy, period drama, and contemporary storytelling.
